Meet the Makers - Our Front Doors

Nothing is more personal than your home, and if you've been following along with our series, you've already seen several glimpses inside of ours.  So this month we wanted to give you a peek at the outside of our houses.

I live in a Philadelphia row home that was built in the 1890's.  Want to see what's inside? Check out #meetnavona on Instagram for more!

One of the things I love about Philly is how much history it has, my house was also built in the 1800's, and has so much character (maybe you've also spotted the brick walls inside in my previous meet the maker photos).  Philly row houses often have a lot in common with one another, especially within the same neighborhood, but I think its really fun to see how they've been changed and personalized over the years.

I'm currently living in a little woodsy apartment in a town just outside of Portland, Oregon.  What I love most about where I live is how peaceful it is.  I can walk right down to the river and watch sea lions, otters, eagles, and all sorts of other creatures in their natural habitat!
